Contacted seller for resolution, but it did not lead anywhere. Contacted the customer support for help, but the case was closed despite the product being fake. Reached out to customer support again, but it went nowhere.
There is no protection for customers even when they are being scammed. Extremely disappointing, and this will be the last time I buy from Etsy!

- - I opened my account 1 year ago and cannot log in; SMS codes are not sent.
- - I emailed support about missing codes but got no reply for months.
I opened my account 1 year ago and I forgot my password which led me to renew it. However, no matter how much attempt I made I could not login because the system basically did not send me the SMS.
I mailed the customer support stating that there were no codes arriving to my phone number but they did not reply even after numerous months. Now I can not login to my e commerce account for a year now and I am devastated !!

I ordered a dinning table from Etsy and the legs are to big for the table, therefore it has a huge sharp edge sticking out, which is dangerous for my 2 year old daughter running around! I have emailed Etsy a number of times but there is no reply. There doesnt seem to be a contact number!

My business does not make use of collaborators or third parties acting on my behalf.
When registering on the Etsy trading platform, I entered all my details correctly covering the bank details of the bank account relevant to my business. Money income from Etsy sales was regularly transferred to my bank account linked to my regularly registered business.
At the time of registration, however, the insertion of a valid credit card was also requested. The request was a generic request, in fact it did not ask for a credit card in the name of my business.
In fact, no accreditations of any kind have ever been made in it.
Since my business-related credit card was not accepted as valid at that time, I thought about registering my daughter's credit card; the qulae was accepted by etsy.
I started my business by recording several sales.
During my business I have scrupulously followed the etsy regulation on the sale of objects
Despite this (I believe due to reports from unfair competitors) I had been deactivated by etsy an advertisement concerning a fabric that I had purchased directly with a regular purchase invoice from the company: Manifattura Paoloni (for which I can provide the vision of the purchase invoice from the brand owner)
Subsequently, on the 11th of October, I received a message from you informing me of the closure of the Etsy shop as, from checks carried out, it was linked to a previous account that had violated the rules.
I investigated, and came to the conclusion that my daughter (the holder of the credit card I had registered) may have previously been running an etsy shop that didn't play by the rules.
When registering the credit card, etsy did not specifically ask me to register a card in the name of me personally or directly linked to my business
I can declare under my own responsibility that I was not aware of the existence of previous accounts that violated the rules
My activity, which I carried out in etsy is not connected neither in substance nor in fact to third parties
For this reason, I am sending this email verified by my company to your company asking for a review of my situation, putting me in a position to be able to continue my activity in etsy (which has always been carried out respecting all the rules)
i send this mail with the hope of not having to proceed by legal means because I have not commited any infringement and my business, and my account have never been linked to other accounts
